26 Sep Scott for Florida Releases New Ad: “Responsibility”
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, the Rick Scott for Florida campaign released its latest ad, “Responsibility” which highlights Senator Nelson’s confusion in recent attack ads against Governor Scott. While Governor Scott takes responsibility as a leader, Senator Nelson has never taken responsibility for cutting Medicare and failing to stand up for Florida seniors.
Watch the ad above and see the full script here:
Narrator: Seen this ad? Bill Nelson is confused again.
When Rick Scott’s company was fined 20 years ago, he took responsibility.
And the company paid every penny it owed.
That’s what strong leaders do – they take responsibility.
But Nelson voted to cut $716 billion from Medicare.
Nelson cut Medicare to use it for other government spending.
Nelson was too weak to stand up for Florida’s seniors.
Bill Nelson can’t change Washington – he is Washington.
Governor Scott: I’m Rick Scott and I approve this message.
