Update: 60 of 67 counties have now reported results

UPDATED AS OF 11/15/18 1:26 PM

60 of 67 counties have now completed the machine recount and reported results.

With almost 75% of votes recounted, Rick Scott’s lead has now GROWN by 54 votes.

“Everyone knows how this is going to end. Everyone’s in on the joke here. What the Democrats want to do here is throw out all the fraud protections on the books, not reelect Bill Nelson. The longer Nelson keeps this going, the more people will forget his decades of public service and remember him as a sore loser who was used as a pawn by national Democrats. When the machine recount is complete this afternoon, Nelson will have to decide if he wants to preserve his legacy and go out with dignity or if he wants to be forever remembered as the guy that liberal interest groups used in an effort to win the presidential election two years early.” – Chris Hartline, Scott for Florida Spokesman

As of this morning, 55 of Florida 67 counties have completed their machine recount. More than 50% of Florida’s votes have been recounted. The margin has shifted by 51 votes.

At 3pm today, all counties will complete their machine recount and Bill Nelson will be faced with a choice. Does he continue this charade and allow DC liberals to continue dragging his reputation through the mud or does he bow out gracefully and preserve what’s left of his legacy.

As Politico’s Marc Caputo reports, Nelson would essentially have to hit a royal flush in the courts in order to prevail – and as of this morning, he’s only playing with 4 cards. While Nelson’s camp will spin this morning’s court decision as a win (even though it will be overturned by the Circuit Court) the truth is that the judge rejected their main request out of hand. The limited ruling, even if it were to stand, would not move the needle in any meaningful way.

Former Governor Jeb Bush said it best: “Senator NELSON, please stop the lawsuits, let the votes be accounted according to Florida law and accept the results. Don’t tarnish your years of service to Florida.”

“Bill Nelson and the liberal groups backing him have filed lawsuits to disregard Florida law and count unlawful ballots.
